Pillow is a new string ensemble performing the dark and cinematic compositions of musician and composer James Osler.

The music captures the richness of a classical tone, whilst retaining the freedom of improvisation and the storytelling of folk like melodies. Sighting influence from artists such as Nick Drake, Erik Satie, Olivier Messiaen and Max Richter to name a few, Pillow embarks on telling their own story of how sounds can emerge and give meaning to life’s experiences.

Born in 2021, written by the shores of the South East and brought to existence London. All music recorded and produced by the Road Records Studio in the valleys of South West Wales.
